3D-printed homes typically use a concrete
layering process and can be built in a variety of styles. They take less time to
build than traditional homes and are less expensive to construct. Many consumers are open to living in a 3D-printed
home, according to a recent survey from realtor.com.
What would make someone opt for a
3D-printed home? Survey participants said they would be likely to consider 3D
homes if they were less expensive, more energy efficient, and more resistant to
natural disasters. Millennial, Gen X,
urban, and upper-income consumers expressed the most interest in 3D-printed homes.
