The new year promises to be a good one for home sellers,
continuing the trend that unfolded this year. 2020 ended with prices up, and many
sellers received multiple bids and more than asking price.
The distribution of COVID vaccines bodes well for the economy, benefitting
home buyers and sellers alike. Interest rates remain historically low—an
important incentive for buyers—and
pent-up demand remains high for everything from small condos and
townhouses to large single-family homes.
Many buyers who would have liked to buy in 2020 had little to
choose from and will be ready to go in 2021. If you’re planning a move, now is
a great time to get started!
