Many buyers and sellers will be happy to know that Governor
Wolf announced today (Tuesday, May 19) that in-person real estate activities can
resume across Pennsylvania, even in red counties, with some limitations.
Agents can once again meet with buyers and sellers in person
when necessary while practicing social distancing. Visiting homes in person can
resume, with not more than two people accompanying the buyer’s agent inside a
home. Buyers and agents must all wear masks throughout the showing and should refrain
from touching anything in sellers’ homes.
Best practices continue to include accomplishing activities remotely
whenever possible, including signing contracts and forms digitally. Open houses
are still prohibited.
